Rio Ferdinand replaces John Terry
John Terry has been stripped off his captaincy by coach Fabio Capello following allegations on his private life. However, Terry assured his full commitment to English national team. Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has been appointed as the new England captain. Capello confirmed his admiration for Terry as a player but had to take this step for the betterment of English football.
Will Rio Ferdinand be a successful captain?
